Hello, and welcome to the Loughman Oaks Administration page!
I am a 12 year resident of Davenport, FL, a community that I am proud to live and work in. Loughman Oaks Elementary School is where I have worked for the last 14 years, and hopefully many more. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and a Master's Degree in Education. My certifications are in ESE K-12, El Ed K-6, Educational Leadership and ESOL endorsed. I have taught exceptional student education in both self-contained and general education classrooms. I am a strong believer that “all” children have the ability to learn. I look forward to a wonderful partnership, where school, community, and parent involvement will allow our OWLS to soar to success!
I was born and raised in New York but have called Davenport, FL my home for the past 12 years. I graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and went on to obtain my Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of West Florida. I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching internship right here at Loughman Oaks Elementary School and was then hired as a Kindergarten teacher. Throughout my career I have taught several grade levels, worked as an Instructional Science Coach and as the Title I Facilitator. I am thrilled to now serve as Assistant Principal.
